Following the storm, damaged power lines were repaired first in order to restore power to as many customers as possible; however, repair work will continue on Monday and Tuesday to restore power to less densely populated areas. Therefore, the number of households without power will decrease more slowly in the coming hours, as Sandis Jansons, Chairman of the Board of Sadales tīkls, explained on the Latvian Television programme ‘Rīta Panorāma’.
