According to the survey, 79% of respondents expressed a positive attitude towards Macron, 64% towards Merz, and 61% towards Erdogan. Sociologists noted that the level of positive attitude towards Macron and Erdogan has increased compared to 2024. Moreover, Ukrainians have a more positive view of Merz than previous German chancellors. For instance, as of February 2025, 57% of respondents had a positive attitude towards Scholz. The survey also revealed that only 16% of respondents expressed a positive attitude towards U.S. President Donald Trump, while 77% stated they have a negative view of the American leader. It is evident that Ukrainians have the worst opinion of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, with 97% of respondents expressing a negative attitude towards him. Additionally, 90% of respondents indicated they have a negative view of Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko, with only 7% stating they view him positively.
