Work is scheduled on the section from Jekaba Street and Kronvalda Boulevard to Elizabetes Street. In the repair zone, the roadway will be narrowed, and the far-right lane in the corresponding section will be closed. To reduce the impact of the work on traffic on one of the busiest streets in Riga, part of the repairs will be carried out at night. The construction work area is divided into six sections. Repairs will be carried out sequentially: from Jekaba Street to Rainis Boulevard; from Rainis Boulevard to Kalpaka Boulevard; from Kalpaka Boulevard to Elizabetes Street; from Elizabetes Street to Pumpura Street; from Pumpura Street to Kalpaka Boulevard; from Kalpaka Boulevard to Kronvalda Boulevard. During the repairs, drivers should consider possible traffic slowdowns. Work will be conducted both during the day and at night. In the absence of unforeseen technical circumstances, work on all six sections is expected to be completed in about two weeks. Drivers are urged to choose alternative routes whenever possible and to comply with the road signs and traffic organization instructions established in the repair zone.
