The Latvian women's national volleyball team last played in the European Championship 29 years ago.
Unfortunately, they have yet to win a match in this year's tournament, losing to Turkey, Germany, Poland and Slovenia, which means that their last game against Hungary is one being played mainly for pride rather than any hope of making the next round of the tournament.
