According to the Saeima's Regulations, the autumn session of parliament begins on August 31. Prior to this, the deputies completed the latest spring session on June 19 and went on summer recess. During the summer, the Saeima had the opportunity to convene for extraordinary meetings to address urgent issues that could not be postponed until the start of the next session. During the autumn session, deputies will continue working on reviewing bills, the budget, and other issues on the parliament's agenda.
