The Minister of the Interior, Janis Dombrava, immediately reacted to this position of his partners in power: "They are trying to slow down the immigration restriction plan. I do not like long meaningless discussions - actions are important. In fulfilling the government declaration and meeting deadlines, I have already submitted a comprehensive immigration restriction plan to be adopted tomorrow at the government meeting. Despite the deadline being September 1, delays began at the coalition meeting, and various arguments were invented to postpone the adoption of the plan. This week, the government will not consider the immigration restriction plan. But I will not stop - I will insist that the coalition of actions must show actions, and the plan must be adopted!"
