By the order of the executive director of the Alūksne municipal government, recommendations for organizing the work of local educational institutions in case of threats related to unmanned aerial vehicles have been approved, reported the municipality's public relations specialist Evita Aploka. According to her, schools have also discussed the course of action in the event of a threat in the airspace. At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Science has given educational institutions time until the autumn break to develop continuity plans. As explained by the Education Department of the municipality, additional time is necessary for the quality preparation of these documents. As reported earlier, on Tuesday night at **3:37**, residents of the Alūksne region received messages through the cellular alert system about a possible threat in the airspace. In connection with this, NATO mission fighter jets were activated to patrol the airspace of the Baltic states. At **4:17**, the National Armed Forces reported that the threat had passed.
