At night, the air temperature will drop to +11…+16 degrees, while during the day it will warm up to +15…+19 degrees. In Riga, predominantly cloudy and rainy weather is expected in the coming day. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible. The southern wind will change to a southwestern one, with gusts reaching 14 meters per second. At night, the air temperature will be around +14 degrees, and during the day it will be up to +18 degrees. Due to heavy precipitation and waterlogged soil, rivers and other water bodies in Kurzeme and parts of Vidzeme may overflow. Water accumulation is possible in low-lying areas. A yellow warning from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre is in effect in Kurzeme until Monday due to high water levels.
