As previously reported, Gushchin is accused of violating EU sanctions by providing publications for a Russian propaganda resource. On Wednesday, the court changed the previously applied measure of restraint for Gushchin - detention - to placing the accused under police supervision. As an additional measure of restraint, he has been prohibited from leaving the country. Gushchin spent about nine months in custody. He was released in the courtroom immediately after the court's decision.
