According to Pecolli, while rereading Inga's posts made before the trip, she notices words that seem to her a kind of premonition. "I don’t know if you believe in the premonitions of the soul," Pecolli addressed her followers on Facebook. She shared a post by Inga published a day before her departure. "Reading almost every line, it seems to me that they sound like premonitions of the soul." "Just as small streams gradually merge into one big river and flow to the sea, so the events of my life have led me to this place and this time. I am flying out on August 8 — to the Lion's Gate. And on August 24, on my birthday, I will be where my journey around Kailash will come to an end. I have a feeling that on this day I will not just finish some journey in the mountains. I will close the door on one decade of my life and enter the next — into another inner space, another feeling, perhaps even into another reality," Inga's post read. "And then the region was hit by devastating floods, after which Inga, along with other pilgrims, went missing.
