Thunderstorms are possible overnight and in the morning in parts of Kurzeme and northwestern Vidzeme, and during the day in other parts of the country. The sky will be overcast, with occasional clearings. At night, there will mainly be a light wind, and the air temperature will drop to +10...+15 degrees. During the day, gusts of the westerly wind will increase to 12-17 meters per second, while a light wind will persist in northern Vidzeme, and the maximum temperature will be +14...+19 degrees. In Riga, it will be rainy over the next 24 hours, with gusts of the westerly wind expected to reach up to 14 meters per second during the day. The air temperature will be +13 degrees at night and +17 degrees during the day. Due to precipitation and waterlogged soil in Kurzeme and parts of Vidzeme, there is a possibility of water bodies overflowing their banks, as well as water accumulation in low-lying areas. A yellow warning from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre regarding high water levels is in effect in Kurzeme until Monday.
