As reported by the National Guard, the exercises will be conducted by the 17th Battalion of Combat Support of the 1st Riga Brigade of the National Guard. Their goal is to enhance the combat readiness of unmanned aerial vehicle units, as well as to practice observation and target identification skills. During the training, the military will intensively use unmanned aerial vehicles. Drone flights will take place in Jūrmala in the area of Mezmalas Street, 43, and Dzerve Street, 4, on the territory of the former Sloka Paper Mill. There may be brief movements of military transport on the roads leading to these addresses. However, tactical maneuvers on the roads will not be conducted. Military personnel and National Guard fighters can also be seen in the specified areas.
