As noted by the Justice Academy, the goal of the program is to prepare judges not only professionally but also emotionally, so that they can administer justice in accordance with the law and independently. The training course includes seminars on civil, criminal, and administrative law. A separate block is dedicated to fundamental rights, international human rights law, and European Union legislation. Special attention will be paid to the practical application of these norms, their interaction, and the methodology of applying the law. Practical training occupies an important place in the program. Future judges will participate in simulating court sessions, analyzing court decisions and arguments, learning to conduct proceedings, evaluate evidence, and build professional communication. In addition to legal disciplines, classes aimed at developing stress resilience, emotional intelligence, effective collaboration skills, and the ability to cope with professional tension are also included. According to the Law on the Judiciary, within the first year after their initial appointment as a city court judge or confirmation in the position of a district court judge, a judge is required to complete a course for new judges. This is organized by the Justice Academy in accordance with the program "For Judges with Up to Three Years of Experience" approved by the Council of Justice.
