During the meeting, the situation in the security sphere in Ukraine and the region as a whole, Latvia's support for Ukraine, as well as cooperation between Latvia and Ukraine in the field of defense were discussed. "Latvia will continue to provide Ukraine with resolute support both politically and practically," promised E. Rinkēvičs. The President of Latvia also expressed unequivocal support for Ukraine's integration into the European Union. During the meeting, E. Rinkēvičs and K.
