Today, drills will also take place at the biological treatment station "Daugava" of the company "Rīgas ūdens" located at Dzintaru Street, 60. There, the protection of a critical infrastructure facility will be practiced, including the use of training counter-mobility elements and the involvement of military personnel and volunteers. The most active phase of the drills at the facility is planned for the morning. Residents of Bolderāja and Daugavgrīva should expect an increased presence of military personnel and military equipment during this time. As reported, the active phase of the "Namejs 2026" drills is taking place in Riga until September 20, during which military personnel and military equipment will be moving around the city. During this period, military personnel from Latvian and allied forces, Zemessargi, and military equipment will be present in the city.
