The lorry had Lithuanian number plates. In its refrigerated compartment, Polish border guards found 34 migrants who had been hidden in the cargo hold behind a specially constructed partition. The migrants were from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Egypt, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan and Tunisia.
