Ukrainian Defense Forces struck Russian military targets in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions on Friday and into Saturday night. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian side, eight drone command points were destroyed. They were located in the areas of Luhansk and Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, as well as Vladimirovka, Verbove, Novoprokopivka, Dobropillia, and Rovnopol in Zaporizhzhia region. Near Novoprokopivka, the General Staff claims that two such facilities were hit. In addition, Ukrainian military officials reported a strike on the "Vostochny" training ground in the occupied area of Novopetrovka in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as on an ammunition depot near Amvrosiivka in Donetsk region. The General Staff of Ukraine also confirmed the results of a strike carried out the day before. According to their data, on Thursday, a Russian radar station 80P6 was hit in the vicinity of the village of Mitulevo in Smolensk region, Russia. Separately, Ukrainian and Russian Telegram channels reported explosions that occurred on Saturday night near the port of Kaspiysk in Dagestan. According to videos published by eyewitnesses, drones were spotted over the city, followed by explosions. At the time of publication, Russian authorities had not officially confirmed information about these strikes and their consequences. Reports about events in Kaspiysk are based on publications from Telegram channels and videos from eyewitnesses. During the ongoing armed conflict, claims by both sides about strikes on military targets are often difficult to verify through independent sources in a timely manner.
