This is about an eco-estate in Camarones – a small settlement in the Argentine province of Chubut. Those interested can stay there for at least 25 days, with the option to extend their stay up to two months. The publication notes that the location is right by the ocean, on the grounds of a historic estate. A distinct advantage of the location is its proximity to wildlife. Approximately 28 kilometers from Camarones is the Cabo Dos Bahías Nature Reserve, where one can see Magellanic penguins, guanacos, and various marine and coastal animals. The estate itself also has an infrastructure atypical for regular tourist accommodations: it maintains a biodynamic garden, raises chickens, and has a vineyard nearby. The volunteer program requires 30 hours of assistance weekly. The workday is planned to be divided into two parts – about two hours in the morning and three after lunch. Possible tasks include preparing and serving food, caring for animals, minor repairs and construction work, gardening and farming, as well as planting and harvesting. Volunteers are provided with one day off per week. Moreover, the program includes not only accommodation. Participants are provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, as well as access to a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Additionally, they can use bicycles for free and attend certain excursions and events. The program is available to individuals aged 22 to 60. Applications can be submitted by both solo travelers and couples traveling together. At the same time, the offer does not mean a completely free trip to Patagonia. Participants will have to pay for their flights, insurance, and transportation to Camarones themselves. The publication notes that the settlement is quite far away: the nearest major airports are located about 250 kilometers from Camarones.
