The teenager has been charged with preparing a terrorist crime, promoting Nazi and fascist ideology, inciting racial hatred, and attempting to acquire weapons. During the examination of his computer and phone, investigators, according to the prosecutor's office, discovered correspondence about possible attacks, including on a school and a mosque, the acquisition of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment. Explosives, knives, a bayonet, and items with Nazi and fascist symbols were also seized during a search of his home. The investigation is being conducted by the Polish Internal Security Agency (ABW). The agency previously reported that it had identified an online environment associated with neo-Nazi propaganda, violence, and interest in mass attacks. On September 13, a 16-year-old teenager was arrested in connection with this case, and in total, ABW reported the detention of two 16-year-olds. Neo-Nazi, racist, and anti-Semitic materials, as well as content about terrorist attacks and mass killings, were found on their devices. According to media reports, the detainees communicated via Telegram and Discord with representatives of the far-right, including a minor citizen of Germany. Information about him was passed on by Polish investigators to German authorities. The 17-year-old suspect denies the charges. If found guilty, he could face up to 15 years in prison.
