The largest amount — 3.05 million euros — will be directed towards rehabilitation technical aids. This funding is planned to provide 4,263 aids, including 1,760 custom-made items, 1,065 mobility aids, 1,403 self-care devices, and 35 alternative communication aids. According to the Ministry of Welfare, as of July 31, there were 3,187 people waiting for technical aids. Without additional funding, the queue could increase to 7,270 people by the end of the year. After the allocation of additional funds, it is projected that about 3,000 people will remain in the queue. Among other things, 570,700 euros will be allocated for state co-financing of home care services provided by municipalities for children with disabilities who require special care. The funding shortfall arose because an average of 1,529 children use the service monthly instead of the projected 1,200. The average cost of an hour of care has also increased from 8.37 to 8.68 euros. Another 432,800 euros will be directed towards social rehabilitation for adult victims of violence. In the first half of the year, this assistance was received by 1,104 people, and by the end of the year, the number of recipients may exceed 2,000, compared to the initial forecast of 1,520. An additional 232,600 euros are allocated for day center services for people with mental and intellectual disabilities. It is expected that by 2026, an average of 194 people will use their services monthly.
