In an interview with Collider, the actor described the project as extremely ambitious and emphasized that the sequel will be significantly different from the 2022 film. According to Pattinson, the first ‘Batman’ by Matt Reeves was already an unconventional interpretation of the Dark Knight's story, but in the second part, the creators decided to change their approach once again. The actor characterized the chosen direction as a ‘sharp turn’ compared to the previous film. At the same time, the creators do not intend to completely abandon the atmosphere of the first film. Pattinson noted that the continuation will retain some recognizable features of the original, but the story itself and the perspective on the Batman universe will be different. Details of the plot are still being kept secret. Matt Reeves returns as the director of the sequel. In addition to Pattinson, the cast includes Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry, and Sebastian Koch.
