Searches took place in several locations in Germany, as well as in the Czech Republic, Estonia, Italy, and Poland, according to a joint statement from the Rostock public prosecutor's office and the criminal police of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In several regions of Germany, police conducted searches at the premises of four main suspects. They are accused of participating in an ultra-right criminal organization. According to the investigation, at least since 2020, these four individuals have collaborated with the aim of spreading "national socialist, anti-Semitic, racist, and dehumanizing ideology," systematically and jointly producing and selling audio recordings of hate-inciting music. Searches were also conducted at the homes of eight other individuals suspected of crimes related to inciting hatred and audio recordings that this criminal organization allegedly released. Additionally, searches were carried out at the residences of ten more individuals connected to the suspects. Outside of Germany, law enforcement conducted searches at businesses producing vinyl records and compact discs. The operation was led by the criminal police of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. A total of more than 390 police officers participated.
