During the museum's reconstruction, work will be carried out to improve the lobbies and modernize the conference hall. During the reconstruction work, the museum's research and educational activities will continue, as well as the storage, accounting, and digitization of collections. Consultations with the museum's researchers and information about the collection materials will, as usual, be available by phone or email. The work will be carried out by JSC "Būvuzņēmums restaurators" for 708,554 euros. The full operation of the museum and visitor reception will continue at the branches of the Latvian War Museum outside of Riga.
