When a woman begins to experience the wonderful and natural period of pregnancy, she is warned from all sides that "life will never be the same." Working in the creative field, I immediately thought that I would have to say goodbye to voice acting for films and cartoons, as well as the opportunity to act. How would I work with a small child in my arms? In reality, when you are pregnant, you cannot accurately imagine what awaits you. But despite all the talk about pregnancy and childbirth, my experience was different. I would even say that I broke stereotypes throughout this wonderful journey. Active PregnancyThroughout my pregnancy, I had a lot of energy, which I used for work 24/7. It was not out of necessity, but rather because work brought me joy!My child grew up in recording studios, and I could feel his reactions while voicing cartoons. I could work at several studios in a day: in the morning, I voiced a children's program, then a video game, and in the evening — a melodrama or a horror film. I can only imagine the contrasts happening in my baby's world.I tried to hide my condition, and thanks to comfortable clothing, many didn't even suspect that I was pregnant. On the day of delivery, December 27, 2021, I woke up, stretched, and smiled as I was getting ready for voice acting, but then realized I was heading to the maternity hospital. I am a very emotional person, but surprisingly, throughout my pregnancy, I did not annoy my husband with whims. I was lucky; I did not experience toxicosis, so I had strength and energy until the very end. We even drove to Crimea twice without stopping for sleep.Happiness Without StereotypesAnd then the long-awaited day of childbirth arrived — everything went naturally, and our son Semyon was born with huge blue eyes and a smile. I thought it would be difficult to combine work and motherhood, as many had told me.But, thanks to the support of my mother, who sent me to voice acting three weeks after giving birth, I realized that it is possible to combine motherhood and a career. The main thing is to have support and a caring background. It is important not to forget about yourself and your husband. Dedicating yourself to the child is wonderful, but you need to find time for yourself. I do not regret not stressing over buying maternity clothes and baby things. I see how my work has reflected on my child — he has been smiling since birth and started talking in the first months. I think this is the energy I passed on to him during pregnancy.
