These issues were discussed, in particular, by the interior ministers of Lithuania and Poland. "The evacuation plans for people from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to Poland in the event of an escalation of threats from Russia include at least one million people," said Lithuanian Interior Minister Martinas Katelinas. As added by the head of the Polish Ministry of Interior and Administration, Marcin Kerwiński, the Polish evacuation plans will now be updated following large-scale civil defense exercises in Lithuania that concluded on Saturday. The ministers reported that the Podlaskie Voivodeship will bear the greatest burden of receiving refugees. However, these scenarios are still being clarified. "We must prepare for various crisis situations. Lithuania naturally lies on the way to the European Union, so we must also be ready for this," noted Kerwiński.
