The press department of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug confirmed that the couple has welcomed a child. It is unknown when the couple met, however, last year Nadezhda Mikhalkova was a guest at the "Spirit of Fire" festival in Khanty-Mansiysk and a few days ago attended her father Nikita Mikhalkov's meeting with viewers in the same city. 40-year-old Mikhalkova is known for films such as "Burnt by the Sun" (which won an Oscar), "The President and His Granddaughter", "Ice 2", "Dad", and the series "Principled". She has two children from her marriage to director Rezo Gigineishvili — a daughter Nina and a son Ivan. 46-year-old Kukharuk served as the head of the city of Tyumen from 2018 to 2024. In May 2024, he was appointed acting governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and in September of the same year, he was elected head of the region. Kukharuk also has two children from a previous marriage — a daughter Tatyana and a son Maxim.
