Many children love to draw from a young age. Give them pencils and paper, and they will depict anything on the sheet: mom and dad, a kitten, flowers, and trees. Of course, their drawings are childlike, but they are full of soul. Thoughtful parents sometimes create entire albums of their children's drawings. For example, this is what Tom Curtis from London does, who is raising two children. One day, he decided to gather all their drawings and try to bring them to life using graphic editors. The results were impressive, as Tom is an artist. He managed to convey all the characters from children's fantasies in great detail in the photographs. Curtis shares his works on his personal blog, and we decided to show them to you. For example, this is how a hummingbird looks in a child's imagination. It looks very cute, especially after Tom's editing. This woodpecker wasn't so lucky. The poor bird is distorted from all sides, its eyes are askew, and it has only one leg. But it is smiling. Here, the expression "I am an artist, I see it this way" fits perfectly. This little horse with platypus features also looks quite amusing. Overall, the depiction is not so far from reality. Only the head slightly spoils the view, but that’s a minor detail. By the way, Tom often receives children's drawings from subscribers for editing. Naturally, he doesn't choose them all, only the most interesting ones. According to the artist, on average, it takes up to 10 hours to edit one drawing. But the result is clearly worth the effort. Here, it was difficult for us to determine what kind of animal was depicted. It seems to be some mix of a hedgehog, a skunk, and a raccoon. And there — who knows what the author of the drawing wanted to convey. And here we have a maximally flat, but quite satisfied lynx. It also wasn't so lucky with proportions, but that's not a big deal. The wild cat looks very amusing.
