Psychologists believe that the mutual communication between a mother and her child is one of the most amazing relationships. Life shows that the power of a mother's love can work wonders, even in the most difficult situations. Foreign psychologists highlight psychosomatics as a separate type of causal relationships between the past, thoughts, and actions, as well as their consequences in the present and their impact on the future. One of the main mechanisms that influence a child's health is the words that a mother uses when addressing her child. A growing child is like a sponge, absorbing everything. Hurtful words can settle deep within, while kind words from loving people can heal and empower. One mother shares her experience: “When we started the fight for our older son, a psychiatrist told us about a simple ritual that mothers of sick children performed. After the child fell asleep, they waited for the active sleep phase and said simple words to him: “I love you. I am proud of you. I am very happy that you are my son. You are the best son for me.” They compared children who received such nightly affirmations with those whose mothers said nothing. The little ones who received their mother's words of love recovered much faster. This is true maternal magic. We began to implement this ritual. It is simple and free. At first, I said standard phrases, then I started to improvise. Five years have passed, and I still whisper different words to my boys almost every night. Although it is difficult for me to talk about specific results, I am sure that my words played their role. This practice is important for both me and the children. What does it give? A sense of closeness with each child. It is an incomparable feeling. At night, when they are sleeping, I hug them and say important words, and I feel our bond strengthening. Individual time for each. In everyday life, I cannot always dedicate time to each of them, but at night, each one becomes special when I say different words. The opportunity to say important things that may not be heard during the day. At night, whispering about love, I forget about quarrels and misunderstandings. The child feels love. I tell them that they are special, and this is important for their self-esteem. I constantly say important phrases. Simple words of love and acceptance can solve many problems. Some of the phrases I use: “I am your mom, and you are my son.” “I am big, and you are small.” “You are the best son for me.” “You are exactly the son we need.” “You don’t need to do anything for me; I love you for who you are.” “I am very happy that you exist.” “I am glad that you are a boy.” “Your dad and I love you very much; you are our son.” “I am very sorry.” “I am proud of you.” “I love you.” How to choose phrases? It is important to try different phrases and observe which ones are significant for you and your child. Tune into the process so that the words are filled with meaning. This may take just three to five minutes, but they should be emotionally rich. Don’t forget to say such phrases during the day as well, to hug your children for no reason. This is something they will remember for a lifetime. The power of a mother's words should not be underestimated. This magic is always available to you and requires nothing special. Just wait for your little one to fall asleep and whisper something important in their ear. “I love you. I am proud of you. You are the best son for your dad and me” — what could be simpler and more magical than such words spoken from the heart of a loving mother?
