China and Russia condemned what they call "destructive external interference" in the affairs of Eurasian states and confirmed their intention to support each other on issues of security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The corresponding joint statement was released during Chinese Premier Li Qiang's visit to Russia, where he met with Vladimir Putin and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. "Both sides noted that destructive external interference is currently the main factor threatening stability across the entire Eurasian continent," the document states. Moscow and Beijing also declared that they firmly condemn actions related to external coercion and the use of force if aimed at undermining Eurasian cooperation. "Both sides will always firmly support each other on issues concerning their core interests," the statement emphasizes. ### China Promised to Support Russia A separate part of the document is dedicated to Beijing's position regarding Russia. The statement says that China supports Russia in ensuring its security, stability, national unity, development, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Beijing also opposed the interference of external forces in Russia's internal affairs. However, the provisions of the joint statement do not specify which states or actions Moscow and Beijing consider to be "destructive external interference." ### The Kremlin is Preparing a Meeting Between Putin, Xi Jinping, and Trump The joint statement does not mention a possible meeting between Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and U.S. President Donald Trump. However, on Wednesday, Kremlin advisor Yuri Ushakov reported that preparations for such a meeting are underway. According to him, Moscow has proposed to organize it within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which is set to take place on November 18–19 in Shenzhen, China. There is no confirmation in the message that the meeting of the three leaders has been agreed upon.
