In the Rostov region of Russia, the military-industrial complex enterprise "Kamenetsky Combine," located in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, was hit by Ukrainian missiles and drones. This was reported on Saturday, October 31, by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as conveyed by the LETA agency citing "Ukrainian Truth." According to the Ukrainian command, "Neptune" missiles and strike drones were used for the attack. As a result, a fire broke out in the finished goods workshop on the premises of the enterprise. There are also reports of damage to four production workshops. Information about the consequences of the strike is currently coming from the Ukrainian side and has not been confirmed by independent sources. ### The Factory Produces Fuel for Multiple Launch Rocket Systems The "Kamenetsky Combine" is an enterprise of the Russian military-industrial complex, specializing, in particular, in the production of solid rocket fuel. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, its products are used in munitions for the multiple launch rocket systems "Uragan," "Smerch," and "Tornado-S," as well as in other rocket systems and aerial strike vehicles. Solid rocket fuel is one of the key components of such munitions. Therefore, the Ukrainian command considers such enterprises as targets of significance for supplying the Russian army with weaponry. > "Strikes on solid rocket fuel production facilities reduce the capabilities of the Russian army to shell populated areas of Ukraine using multiple launch rocket systems," stated the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the extent of the current attack's impact on the enterprise's production capacity is still unknown. ### Military Warehouses Were Also Targeted In addition to the enterprise in the Rostov region, Ukrainian military officials reported attacks on four logistics warehouses of the Russian army. These facilities, according to the General Staff's statement, are located in the occupied territories of the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine. Details about the nature of the damages and possible losses at the warehouses have not been provided by the Ukrainian side. ### Earlier Reports of a Fire at a Refinery in Ufa On Saturday night, there were also reports of a drone attack on an oil refinery in Ufa, the capital of the Russian Republic of Bashkortostan. According to media reports, a fire broke out on the premises of the enterprise following the strike. Thus, within a day, reports emerged of attacks on several facilities of Russian industry and military logistics. However, the exact scale of the damages, the timeline for possible restoration of the facilities, and the consequences for their operation remain unknown.
