Today, many newly elected deputies share their impressions and make new promises on social media after taking their solemn oath. Among them is the former chairman of the National Council for Electronic Media, Ivars Abolins, who has been elected as a deputy of the Saeima from the National Alliance: "Taking on the duties of a deputy of the 15th Saeima is a great honor and a great responsibility. Today, before the people of Latvia, I took an oath. For the next four years, I will do everything in my power to serve Latvia, strengthen the security of our country, and the Latvian language.
