This year, around 40 artists are participating in the project, including students and graduates of the Latvian Academy of Arts. The exhibition features approximately 500 works of art — from small decorative items to large-scale paintings. The selection promises to be diverse. Visitors will see paintings created with oil, acrylic, and watercolor, graphic works, sculptures, glass and textile products, ceramics, original jewelry, and souvenirs. The main feature of Art Hunt is that visitors can purchase any work they like immediately. Thus, the exhibition serves as both a platform for getting acquainted with contemporary Latvian art and an opportunity to support emerging artists. Moreover, the exhibition will not remain unchanged. The organizers promise to regularly replenish the assortment with new works, so even a repeat visit may bring unexpected finds. The exhibition opened on October 30 and will be open on weekends until November 28. You can visit the "Art Hunt" at the Kalnciema Quarter gallery located at: Kalnciema Street, 35, Riga. Opening hours: Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sundays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free. The organizers invite both collectors and enthusiasts of contemporary art, as well as those simply looking for an unusual gift or an original item for their home. Perhaps here you will find a piece that will become a true family treasure over time.
