As reported to the LETA agency by Ilze Indriksone, a deputy of the 15th Saeima and Minister of Education and Science from the National Alliance, she signed and submitted the statement on Tuesday. According to the politician, she expects that the other three ministers from the National Alliance - Minister of the Interior Janis Dombrava, Minister of Climate and Energy Janis Vitenbergs, and Minister of Culture Nauris Puntulis - have done the same. Indriksone explained that the documents had already been prepared, but for technical reasons, one of them might have been registered in the records on Wednesday. Vitenbergs and Dombrava informed the LETA agency that they also signed the statements and refused the parliamentary remuneration. Puntulis also refused the parliamentary remuneration, his advisor Agnese Varpinā reported. It has already been reported that with the convening of the newly elected Saeima, the Cabinet of Ministers led by Kulbergs officially resigned, but according to the law, it continues to work until the new government is approved in parliament, ensuring the continuity of state functions and the continuity of ongoing work.
