When the power goes out, dishes that can be prepared quickly and still taste good become especially relevant. This applies not only to main courses but also to desserts. Renowned Ukrainian chef and pastry chef Liza Hlinska offers a recipe for a plum pie that won't take much time and will delight both family members and guests. Plum Pie Ingredients: Butter – 180 g (one package); Eggs – 3 pcs; Sugar – 150 g (about one cup); Baking powder – 10 g (1 tbsp without a heap); Flour – 150 g (one cup); Plums – 10 pcs; Vanilla sugar (optional). Additionally, you will need 30 g of sugar for sprinkling the pie and 5 g of butter for greasing the pan. Preparation Method: Beat the softened butter until creamy, then add room temperature eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Combine the flour with the baking powder and add it to the main batter, mixing well again. Wash the plums thoroughly, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Grease the pan with butter, then line the bottom with parchment paper. Pour half of the batter and spread it evenly in the pan. Then layer the plums, cover with batter again, and top with more plums. Sprinkle sugar on top of the pie and place it in a convection oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
