With the resumption of traffic, previously introduced changes to the traffic organization at the intersection of Tilta Street and Ganibu Dambis will be canceled. Public transport will also return to its usual routes. To ease traffic flow during the closure of Tvaika Street, the no entry sign No. 301 was temporarily removed at the intersection of Tilta Street and Ganibu Dambis. This allowed vehicles to move from the railway crossing towards Ganibu Dambis. Now, the no entry sign will be reinstalled at the intersection. Thus, passage from the railway crossing to Ganibu Dambis via the temporarily opened route will again be prohibited. ## How public transport will operate With the restoration of traffic, public transport is gradually returning to its regular routes. Trolleybus No. 3 has already resumed its main route through Tvaika Street towards Kundziņsala today. In connection with the restoration of trolleybus service, the temporary bus route No. 95 will be closed. Starting Monday, November 9, buses No. 49 will also begin to operate on Tvaika Street along their usual route. The Riga municipality urges drivers to pay attention to changes in traffic organization at the intersection of Tilta Street and Ganibu Dambis, to comply with traffic sign requirements, and to choose permitted routes. ## The reason for the restrictions was a major fire Recall that earlier this week, a fire occurred in a production building at 4 Tvaika Street in Sarkandaugava. The fire covered an area of 2,250 square meters. Due to the dangerous situation arising from the fire, traffic in this area was temporarily restricted.
